Cox Hallett Wilkinson (“CHW”) has advised Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation in relation to the $2.1Bn offer to acquire all the outstanding common shares of Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd., a Canadian company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“Tanganyika”).
The CHW team, led by Jonathan Betts, advised on the Bermuda aspects of the acquisition of Tanganyika, which has a number of group companies incorporated in Bermuda.
Stikeman Elliott LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP also advised Sinopec.
