Cox Hallett Wilkinson (“CHW”) has advised Fortis Bank NV and DVB Bank AG in relation to a US$127 million financing for SeaCo Ltd., a new company established to hold the maritime container interests of Sea Containers Ltd. which recently emerged from bankruptcy in Delaware.
The CHW team, led by Jonathan Betts, advised on the Bermuda aspects of the financing with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP advising the banks as to matters of US law. Kirkland & Ellis International LLP and Appleby advised Sea Containers.
